🚀 Internship: Software Engineering Intern

Are you an ambitious student ready to combine a research assignment with hands-on experience in a dynamic FinTech environment? As a Software Engineering Graduate Intern, you’ll join our diverse tech team and contribute to the growth of our platform with both research and development work.

📍 Internship Details

Location: Amsterdam
Period: 4-6 months
Hours: 32-40 hours per week (on-site / hybrid)

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing

🔬 1. Your Research Assignment
In consultation with our Engineering Team, you’ll define and carry out an in-depth, impactful technical research assignment. We’re flexible and happy to help you find a topic that aligns with both your academic goals and our roadmap.

Possible research domains include:

• Research and pilot a new language or framework
• Strategies and implementation within AWS/GCP
• Focus on CI/CD and automated testing

🚀 2. Direct Practical Contribution
Alongside your research, you’ll apply your knowledge directly in real projects, ensuring your ideas have a direct impact on our platform.

This includes:

• Writing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Detecting, analysing and solving technical challenges and bugs
• Actively contributing to the development of our platform

👤 Who We’re Looking For

• You’re currently pursuing a HBO/WO degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Solid understanding of software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP)
• Hands-on experience with programming through studies, projects, or internships
• A logical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems
• Hungry to learn new technologies and best practices
• Experience with Git, testing frameworks, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English
• A proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude
