🤝 Your Team

As a Product Management Intern, you will join our Product Management (PM) team in Amsterdam for a six-month internship. The team includes experienced professionals such as Omar and An, who will be your internship supervisors, as well as Ragnar, our Director of Product and co-founder. You’ll also work closely with fellow product managers Hadeel and Vajk.

At SkillLab, you’ll be part of a team that values collaboration and impact. Our international environment consists of ±65 team members from ±30 different countries, all working together in the heart of Amsterdam.

🚀 Your Opportunity

• Gain hands-on experience in product management and collaborate with various stakeholders (PMs, QAs, developers, designers, data scientists, and more).
• Make a real-world impact by working on end-to-end product feature development that enhances users’ experiences.
• Contribute to delivering new features and improving existing ones through an agile approach (scoping, setting requirements, planning, testing, releasing, and monitoring performance).
• Shadow and learn from our experienced product managers, Omar and An, to develop expertise in software product management.

🛠️ Your Skills

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in product management, software development, or related areas.
• Familiarity with product management principles, software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
• Experience in extracurricular activities or university projects showcasing leadership and teamwork skills.

Previous internship or work experience in product management, software development, or a related field is a plus.

📋 Requirements

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands (SkillLab does not support visa applications for non-EU candidates).
• Currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.
• Available for a full-time (40 hours per week), six-month internship.

💰 Compensation & Location

• Paid internship with a monthly stipend of €1,000.
• Option to live in another Dutch city and commute to the Amsterdam office 1-2 days per week (train expenses covered by SkillLab).
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with a target start date in April 2025.
