🧬 About Avantor

Avantor in Tilburg makes high-tech assemblies for the pharmaceutical industry. These assemblies are assemblies of bags, filters, clamps, couplings, etc. Which are used, for example, to produce the COVID vaccine. Our production is order-driven. This means that we produce according to the customer’s specifications (Production to Order), which makes each product order specific.

🤩 The Challenge

You will work on a specific project of inventorization of Engineering equipment & componentry.

In the Engineering Department, we use a lot of equipment and components for our daily activities (such as testing, trials, measurements, FATs, etc.). All of this equipment + components are spread into the Tilburg location in our Demo room, Clean Room Area, Offices, and Warehouse. We will start a 5S project for proper management of this equipment and components.

We will expect you to run and follow up activities within this project. You will work closely with several design engineers & technicians and support them with both physical works on reorganization and on the documentation side.

You do need to have a good technical education to ensure you can support our projects.

✅ Who we are looking for

• Good command of the Dutch / English language is important
• You are following a college or university study
• You have good communication skills
• You have an affinity with engineering and processes in general.
