🚀 The Challenge

As an intern in our Legal team, you will support and learn from our Legal Director, focusing primarily on civil law. You’ll draft contracts, engage in negotiations, and provide legal guidance across departments. This role offers hands-on experience in legal documentation, research, and complex negotiations, all while maintaining strong customer relationships and shared interests.

• Hands-On Legal Practice: Actively support the Legal Director in civil law matters.
• Contract Drafting: Enhance your skills in legal documentation.
• Negotiation Skills: Participate in customer negotiations and learn the nuances of contract agreements.
• Legal Research: Deepen your research abilities with case law and legislation.
• Communication Expertise: Refine your communication skills through various tasks.
• Database Management: Contribute to the Legal department’s information management.
• Legal Updates: Stay abreast of new laws and regulations.
• Tech Company Insights: Gain insights into legal counsel operations within a tech company.
• Privacy and IT Law Knowledge: Broaden your understanding of privacy and IT law, if applicable.

We are seeking candidates with:

• Passion for diverse projects, teamwork, and initiative.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Current pursuit of a Dutch law degree (University or University of Applied Sciences) at Bachelor (third year) or Master level.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Interest in technology and legal matters.
• Availability for in-office work in Amsterdam.
