As a Data Science Intern at SkillLab, you will experience the dynamic culture of a tech start-up with a social mission. You’ll collaborate with an international team comprising members from 25+ countries and work closely with the lead data scientist to integrate Responsible AI practices into our products. Your contributions will directly influence AI model development and deployment, making labor markets more inclusive and fair.<\/p>\n

  • Assist in researching best practices for developing a Responsible AI framework, guided by the EU AI Act.<\/li>\n
  • Support the implementation of this framework to ensure our product remains socially conscious and beneficial for users.<\/li>\n
  • Proactively document processes to ensure transparency and support future improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \ud83d\udcdd What We Expect from You<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • A study background in Responsible AI and familiarity with the AI Act.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Python, Git, and SQL, as well as knowledge of machine learning techniques.<\/li>\n
    • Interest in explainability and transparency in AI.<\/li>\n
    • Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and ability to work independently or in a team.<\/li>\n
    • Enthusiasm for socially impactful AI solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \ud83c\udfaf Requirements<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (we do not support visa applications outside the EU).<\/li>\n
      • Current enrollment as a student or recent graduate (within the last 12 months).<\/li>\n
      • Availability to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hours\/week) internship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Experience deploying AI models.<\/li>\n
        • Familiarity with Responsible AI techniques beyond the EU AI Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
