You will experience the culture of a technology start-up with a social mission and work in an international environment with SkillLabers from over 28 countries. You’ll gain experience in market research and business strategy in the field of employment services, developing skills in analysis, strategic planning, and writing. You’ll make a positive change in the world by translating your market research findings into tangible recommendations, helping our business partners reach more clients and users who will benefit from our career guidance technology.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udc65 Your Team<\/h3>\n

You will work closely with and report to Arijana, our Strategy Generalist, who informs our business strategy with knowledge from her extensive market research. She is part of the business team, analyzing the market, focusing on funding streams, relevant theoretical frameworks, and policy changes, and identifying strategic opportunities. You’ll join the Business team, cooperating with our business partners, attending weekly team meetings, and supporting our business strategy with your research.<\/p>\n

  • You will conduct market research for certain geographical regions (e.g., Europe, Asia, and Latin America) and help us identify relevant procurement opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • You will translate your research findings into concise reports that will inform our business decisions.<\/li>\n
  • You will assist in analyzing policies, professional developments, and relevant partner structures.<\/li>\n
  • You will support us in strengthening our company brand by finding relevant conferences and events SkillLab can attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \ud83d\udcdd Your Skills<\/h3>\n

    • You have a background in Sociology, Public Administration, Political Sciences, Migration Studies, Anthropology, Social Policy, or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • You have a demonstrated interest in market research, business strategy, report writing, and\/or a related field.<\/li>\n
    • You have been involved in academic or extra-curricular activities where you practiced and demonstrated your data collection, qualitative research, and writing skills.<\/li>\n
    • You are interested in employment policy and how employment services can improve people\u2019s lives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \ud83c\udf1f Extra Awesome<\/h3>\n

      Previous internship and\/or work experience in market research, business development, or a related field is a plus.<\/p>\n

      \u2705 Requirements<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • You have the right to work in the Netherlands.<\/li>\n
      • You are currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.<\/li>\n
      • You are able to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hours\/week) internship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \ud83d\udcb0 Compensation & Location<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • This is a paid internship. If you live in Amsterdam or relocate to Amsterdam during your internship, the monthly reimbursement will be 1,000 EUR.<\/li>\n
        • You can do the internship by living in another city in the Netherlands and commuting to the office 1-2 days per week. If you do the internship remotely, the monthly reimbursement will be 700 EUR. SkillLab covers your train commuting expenses to Amsterdam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • We will invite you for a short screening call.<\/li>\n
            • We will invite you for a 60-minute interview if we find that you are a good fit. The interview will involve you preparing a short assignment.<\/li>\n
            • If we think you are the ideal candidate for the role, we will offer you the internship and discuss logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
