SkillLab collaborates with employment and career services in 25+ countries, aiming to transform labor and education markets globally.<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcbc Your Opportunity<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience the culture of a technology start-up with a social mission and collaborate with team members from over 28 countries.<\/li>\n<li>Gain hands-on experience in User Interface (UI) work within a product development environment.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with our Senior Designers to improve your UI design skills and understand UX techniques and the Design Thinking mindset.<\/li>\n<li>Interact with the entire product team, including UXR, development, and product management, and understand how we evaluate designs and implement our design work based on product roadmap prioritization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83e\udd1d Your Team<\/h3>\n<p>You will work closely with and report to Giulia, one of our Senior Product Designers with extensive UI experience and knowledge from both Amsterdam and Italy. You will join the User Experience (UX) team and also cooperate with Dan, the UX team lead. We hope you will be too!<\/p>\n<h3>\ud83c\udf1f Your Impact<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain real-world understanding of how UI supports product work from a multidisciplinary design team to the larger product development lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Be the UI owner of a key piece of our product offering and improve its design.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in user testing and iterate your design work based on feedback gathered.<\/li>\n<li>Help structure a design system and identify basic system components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83d\udee0\ufe0f Your Skills<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Background in Graphic Design, UI Design, and\/or UX Design.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Figma, user flows, and wireframing.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated interest in User Interface design, visual design, prototyping, usability testing, user experience, and\/or user-centered design.<\/li>\n<li>Desire to focus mostly on UI and gain exposure to UX and research by following a user-centric approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83c\udf81 Extra Awesome<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working in a product development environment.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with a user-centered approach and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Figma functionality skills (prototyping, building component libraries, maintaining design systems).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83d\udccb Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligibility to work in the Netherlands (we do not support visa applications for applicants outside the EU).<\/li>\n<li>Currently enrolled as a student or graduated within the last 12 months.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to commit to a six-month full-time (40 hours\/week) internship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\ud83d\udcb5 Compensation &amp; Location<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a paid internship. If you live in Amsterdam or relocate there during your internship, the monthly reimbursement is 1,000 EUR.<\/li>\n<li>You can live in another city in the Netherlands and commute to the office 1-2 days per week. If you do the internship remotely, the monthly reimbursement will be 700 EUR.
