You are an HBO\/university student with a major or minor in finance looking for an internship where you can really<\/em> experience startup life firsthand. You are able to work diligently and independently and know how to prioritise. You don’t need to be micro managed and love the freedom to come up with your own ideas and improvements. You love helping out in whatever way you can and are eager to learn more about the financial workings of a real company.<\/p>\n Oh and by the way, we’re super flexible in the days\/hours you are available.<\/p>\n Your main tasks will be helping out with the financial administration. You will learn how to use bookkeeping software (we use Exact Online) to make entries, process payments, cue payouts and so on. You will also assist in preparing the monthly KPI’s and cashflow metrics for our investors, all based on the data you processed. By the end of the internship you know the ins and outs of a companies’ finance and understand how to dive deeper in a profit and loss statement in order to give a good assessment of a company’s financial health.<\/p>\n Our office is situated in the heart of Amsterdam in tech-hub TNW and you will get access to your own desk. You will also be able to attend workshops, activities and Friday drinks at TNW. The actual in-person activities are a bit dependant on the covid situation but they will hopefully pick up during your internship. We’re also part of a larger company (SpaceBase) that also has socials and will come over from time to time to mingle.<\/p>\n Awesome!
