We are currently looking for a finance management intern at our international service office in Amsterdam, who is up for the challenge.<\/p>\n

💢 What you will contribute to our brand and offer<\/h3>\n

As a finance management intern, you\u2019ll be supporting our Finance Department with all activities regarding accounting tasks, financial planning, forecasting and reporting. In addition, you will carry out various administrative tasks and have input to financial systems development projects. Your decisions, analysis and work will directly impact the business.<\/p>\n

💼 Position goals & objectives<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Work conjunction Finance Department in various administrative and commercial finance tasks
\n\u2022 Take part in projects for system implementations, continuous standardization and process improvements
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of internal monthly financial reports or ad hoc reports
\n\u2022 Improve financial processes
\n\u2022 Analyze financial information
\n\u2022 Assist in the payments process and cash reconciliation
\n\u2022 Assist in preparing business cases
\n\u2022 Organize files in preparation for due diligence or reporting
\n\u2022 Analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs, and determine the reason for any discrepancies<\/p>\n

✅ Your skills<\/h3>\n

\u2022 4th year Bachelor student at a recognized HBO or equivalent; Financial Accounting or similar course of study
\n\u2022 Attention to detail
\n\u2022 Experience with Microsoft Excel, and comfortable using other MS Office software
\n\u2022 Preferably experienced with Basecone and Exact Online or similar accounting system
\n\u2022 Professionalism, commitment to quality and integrity, and strong self-motivation
\n\u2022 Able to work in a team-oriented environment and willing to assist others as needed
\n\u2022 Enthusiastic to work hard in a growing company
\n\u2022 Must be a self-starter who is comfortable achieving maximum results with minimal supervision
\n\u2022 Proven record of prioritizing effectively and handle shifting priorities
\n\u2022 Communication \u2013 outstanding written and verbal ability to communicate in English and Dutch (Spanish is a pre)
\n\u2022 Proactively seek out new learning opportunities
\n\u2022 Flexibility to perform a variety of different types & levels of work
\n\u2022 Present strong, fact-based points of view
\n\u2022 Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities
