🤩 The Challenge

The overall objective of the internship is as follows: Execute an analysis on inventory levels, processes and lead times of wine and make recommendations for improvement. Specific components of the project:

• Analyse actual replenishment lead-times per supplier versus commitments in the contract
• Evaluate timeline of events (send PO, confirm by supplier, ready for pick up, (un-)loading, booking)
• Analyse correlation between out of stocks, actual inventory levels and promotion forecast accuracy (where available) per SKU (stock keeping unit)
• Evaluate Vivino stock levels versus service issues on Vivino
• Evaluate SKU outliers on (too) high inventory levels and root cause them
• Create a set of actionable recommendations to optimize our inventory management processes

🤝 What we ask

• A suitable HBO or WO education, for instance (Technical) ‘Bedrijfskunde’, Econometrics, Logistics
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
• Affinity with Supply Chain management, FMCG and e-commerce.
• Proactivity, enthusiasm, motivation and a drive to learn and develop
